On-Page S.E.O

On-page S.E.O is to optimize web pages in order to rank on top. We should clearly add Meta keywords, Header Tags etc in order to make crawling easier for the Search engine Spiders. 

Snippet

Snippet is the results shown when an user search something in Google. The standard snippet width is 512 pixels or approximately 55-60 characters.

Following are the some of the important factors to improve your page ranking on Search engine

(!) Page titles

Page titles are the 1 of the most important factors to improve your page ranking. Each posts and pages of ours should have its own unique titles, which contains the main Keyword for the page or post.

For example, If we are writing a post about a new Chicken recipe that we tried out, add 'New chicken recipe' or 'Quick Chicken recipe' within your post title. In this way our posts have better chance of ranking higher.

(!!) Meta Descriptions

An Important Meta descriptions of a page contains relevant keyword of our content. For example if we are using title 'New chicken recipe', then a good Meta Descriptions would be 'Easiest or fast preparing and other related ones.  Maximum length for a Meta descriptions if we are creating a post is 155 characters or 1024 Pixels.

For each pages or pages we can include keywords in form of Meta Tags. these would be relevant keywords of our content, which we have searched previously.

(!V) URL Structure's

By adding Search engine friendly URLs for our page can results in better crawling. Shorter URLs can improve search engine results. 

(V) Body tags or Body Section

When we are writing a post we should divide contents into smaller sections and paragraphs, making it user friendly. These divided sections can be given heading (H1,H2,H3 etc). H1 Tags are for our main heading and other for sub heading and minor headings.

By adding relevant keywords throughout our content can improve site optimization. It helps the search engine to recognize what our content is about easily.

By including images within our content very important, as it helps to make our site more visually appealing. We can also add ALT Text for our image, making them more useful with S.E.O.
